Fill in the Application Form & Attach Your Supporting Documents

Application can be made through our online application form. You are advised to submit your application at least 2 months prior to the commencement of your programme intake to avoid any unnecessary delays. 

In order to support your application, you will need to attach the following supporting documents to your online application form:

1.     Certified clear copy of all relevant academic qualifications (transcripts and certificates)
2. Certified clear copy of IELTS/TOEFL transcript (if applicable)
3. One (1) certified clear copy set of applicant's passport including blank pages (with at least 1 year validity from the intake date)
4. Six (6) pieces of identical passport sized photos. Image must be professionally and recently taken, front-facing, non-smiling, against a white background
5. No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the relevant embassy if you are from an African or sub Saharan country
6. Pre-Arrival Medical Examination report.
7. If financed by scholarship/study loan, documented evidence must be attached. If self-sponsored, a guarantee letter/financial statement from bank, parents or sponsor is compulsory
8. English translations of all documents submitted (where applicable)

Immigration Advice: Overview of Immigration Guidelines

All international students must attain the Single Entry Visa (SEV) from the Malaysian High Commission/Embassy before entering Malaysia (if SEV is required for your country).

Student Pass & Visa Approval Letter

The Student Pass and Visa are endorsed onto your passport by the Malaysian Immigration Department i.e., Visa type, multiple entry and Visa expiry date (which is for one year). The Malaysian Immigration and Ministry of Education Malaysia (MOE) regulations require all international students to enroll as full-time students throughout their study.

Medical Examination Report Form & Letter of Acceptance

As stated in the given link https://educationmalaysia.gov.my/how-to-apply/medical-screening.html/ of Education Malaysia Global Services*, all international students are required to undergo a medical screening in their home country as part of the Student Visa Application. Both the completed Medical Examination Report form and Letter of Acceptance must be submitted upon application of enrolment/before coming to Malaysia. 

Climate & Clothing

Be prepared for Malaysian weather. Located near the equator, Malaysia has a hot and humid tropical climate with temperatures averaging 27 °C and frequent rainfalls in-between. Therefore you are strongly advised to bring lightweight clothes such as jeans, khakis and cotton shirts, and to pack an umbrella in your bag.

Checklist

It is recommended that students use Travelers Cheques or Credit Card when entering Malaysia. Do ensure that you have sufficient funds to cover your first 3 months' expenses for food, accommodation, transport, books, etc.

Library And Resource Centre

Management & Science University Library and Resource Center (LRC) boasts an extensive collection of learning and reference materials, for students and staff to do their studies or research. The references include monographer, books, magazines, journals, and thesis, and also student project report, mainstream newspapers, past year examination questions. Web-based full-text online journals and electronic books are also available for user’s access. Students can easily access, read, download, or print journal articles or books via the internet. 

The LRC is fully automated and our own computerized system, LIS (Library Information System), provides users information on the availability of books or material etc. Our experienced librarians are always at hand and ever willing to provide users with the necessary assistance and advice in finding and using the most appropriate source of information.

One of our priorities is to ensure that the materials needed by users are available at their convenience. Hence by employing our Inter-Library loan facility, we are able to borrow materials on users behalf from other libraries throughout the country. Other facilities provided by the LRC are photocopying, and computers with internet access. For privacy and convenience, LRC also provide individual study carrels, a group study room and an AV room.
