New Giza University is a university located in the city of Cairo, Egypt. It is mostly known for its undergraduate courses and degrees. It is a newly built university, the university was inaugurated with its first batch in 2016. This institute initially focused on building only the schools of pharmacy, medicine, and dentistry. Later, it developed provisions for various other disciplines including Business and finance, economics and politics and etc.

Eligibility To Study MBBS In New Giza University

• Students must have a recorded proof of attending 12 years of school.
• He/she must at least be 17 years of age.
• He/she must have passed in any of the 6 subjects (along with English) according to the field chosen.
• Candidates must study 3 out of 6 subjects in high school.
• Students must fulfill the requirements according to the school (pharmacy, medicine, dentistry, or any other) they have applied in.
• For medicine students, he) she must have studied physics, chemistry, and biology in high school.
• Students need to fulfill the following requirements for being granted the certificate: The extended essay and theory of knowledge.

New Giza University Admission Process

• Step 1: Application form which is to be filled before the deadline.
• Step 2: payment of application fee: the processing of the candidate’s application wouldn’t move forward without the submission of the application fee which is 1500 EGP.
• Step 3: Submission of required and valid documents is the next step. Students can upload scanned copies of the documents with IELTS/TOEFL scores.
• Step 4: TInterview invite: Students who have submitted their documents and specifically the English test score will only be called for a personal interview. Later, if he/she gets accepted they may fulfill the further requirements and then receive the provisional acceptance email.
• Step 5: Receiving of the provisional acceptance letter: when the student has got all the steps done and passed the interview, they receive this letter.
• Step 6: applying on the electronic Tansik website: it is only for Thanaweya Amma and Thanaweya Azhareya applicants, others get accepted directly.

Academic Requirements:

• Candidates must submit their original degrees, examination certificates, or any other educational proofs. They must be stamped by the Ministry of external affairs and Egyptian educational authorities.
• All degrees and transcripts from outside Egypt must be stamped by the respective and concerned authorities and also be approved by the Egyptian embassies.
• Secondary school examination certificates are also required.
• Proof of schooling (12 years) stamped and recognized by Egyptian educational authorities and the school.
• Recommendation letter from school educators.
• In 500 words the candidate needs to summarize all his/her achievements and also state reasons for interest in the particular field he/she applied to.
